KIERNAN, Bart On October 27, Bart Kiernan, 69, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, as well as a brother and true friend to countless others. He is survived by his children, Colleen (Mel) Valerio, Kimberley (Jared) Bull, andgrandchildren: Ryley, Chris , Amanda, Steven, Nakita, Daniel, and Elijah, as well as his brothers and sisters: Claude (Ilene) Kiernan, Darryl (Donna) Kiernan, Pearl (Dale) Hoffman, Maureen (Lorne) Phillips, Laverne (Mary Jane) Kiernan, Shannon (Wayne) Fors, Kathleen (Ken) Bodnar, and Brent Kiernan (deceased). Bart will be remembered for his great sense of humour; true sense of honesty and fair play; and kind spirit. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2nd at Bethel Lutheran Church (298 Bethel Drive, Sherwood Park - bethelchurch.com for directions) at 1:00 p.m. In Bart's memory, the family requests donations be made to the Mel Miller Hospice, Palliative Care Centre at the Edmonton General Hospital.
