ELLEN, Melvin On Thursday, October 29, 2009. Beloved husband of Rona Vilner. Loving father and father-in-law of Marcy and Bobby Giann, Stephanie and Michael Beallor. Proud grandfather of Arielle, Emily, Samantha, Mackenzie, Danielle, Joshua, Jordana, Justin, Jamie, Mitchell, Libby, Stevie, and Cecelia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Leonard and Bina, Asher, Mary and Harold Moscovitch, and Mendy. Special step-father of Alissa and Bruce Nierenberg, Jo Ann and Sheldon Itzkowitz, Felice and Philip Abtan, and Frank Michelin. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, October 30 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the New Memorial Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
