GERMAN, MARY It is with great sadness that the family of Mary German (nee Adam) announce her passing on October 27, 2009 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory her four daughters; Evelyn Korpus of Regina, Lorraine German of Anaheim, CA, Delores (Nelson) Waldner of Laguna Hills, CA, Georgina Morrison of Airdrie, AB, eight grandchildren; Robin, Kimberley, Kelly, Daria (Jerry), Michael (Sabine), Scott (Yvonne), Tania (Jason), Jana (Roger); sister Emma Machinski of Edmonton, AB; brother Harry (Barbara) Adam of Oshawa, ON as well as seventeen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Mary was predeceased by her husband George, parents John and Victoria Adam, granddaughter Leandra Korpus, sisters Annie, Helen and Kay, brothers George, Mike, Bill, Fred, Nick, Dan, Pete and Ernie, son-in-laws Donald Korpus and Dean Morrison. Mom loved her family and looked forward to their visits. She was very proud of the many Easter eggs she designed along with other crafts including crocheting, knitting and other needlework. Mom enjoyed tending to her garden and always had enough produce to share. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. and the Funeral Rite will take place on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 89 Bradbrooke Drive, Yorkton, SK with Father M. Slashinsky officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in lieu may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 279 3rd Avenue N., Saskatoon, Sk S7K 2H8.
