Cornelius J. Voth June 4, 1908 October 29, 2009 Our family is saddened by the death of our loving father but are thankful for the over 100 years he gave us and his community. He was predeceased by his parents and 14 siblings. Dad was the last of a generation and with his blessing we will carry on. Cornelius is survived by his caring and loving wife of nearly 60 years, Verna; children, Joanne (Dale) Janzen, Dalmeny, SK and Ken Voth, Hepburn, SK and daughter-in-law, Kelli Voth, Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren, Shannon (Calvin) Grabler, Cherhill, AB and their children, Karsten, Rylen, Dallen and Shelten; Sheryl (Brad) Cairns, Dalmeny, SK and their children Layne, McKinna and Keardyn; and Steven Janzen, Dalmeny, SK; Adam Voth, Hepburn, SK; Julia Voth, West Hollywood, CA; Andrew Voth, Hepburn, SK and Katelyn Voth, Saskatoon, SK. Cornie was involved in the family farm all his life actively taking part in at least 80 harvests. In his younger years he was involved in community affairs, sitting on school boards, a Co-op director and being an usher in his church for many years. He was blessed with a long and healthy life, being over 100 years of age before ever being hospitalized. As recently as September this year, he would be seen with mom idling around Hepburn in his car with the usual supper stop at the local cafe. Family and friends are welcome to Dalmeny Funeral Home on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 2, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Hepburn Mennonite Brethren Church with interment to follow.
