Gladys MOBEY

CLIFFORD, Gladys Who was born in Oxford, England on Oct. 11, 1921 passed away peacefully on Oct. 27, 2009 at the Victoria General Hospital. Predeceased by infant son Wayne. Beloved wife of Cecil and loving mother to daughter Bev (Glen) Stocks, son Ron, devoted sister to Lawrence Mobey and special friend to Sheila Cross who was like a daughter, loving grandmother to Michelle (Duncan), Darren (Catharine), Wayne and Cheryl (Chris), great-grandmother to Devon, Debbie, Jaimie and Tyler. Mum and Dad celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Mum will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and sense of humour. She was well known and liked at French Creek Campground. Special thanks to all the nurses that cared for mom on 4B over the past 5 months. Memorial service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
