GIBBONS, Joyce May (nee Orchuk) May 8, 1933 - October 20, 2009 Dear Mom, I love you and miss you more than words can ever say. You will always be young and beautiful to me. Yesterday, Today, Always and Forever. Knowing that you are free from pain, those of us who loved you cannot wish you back again. Graciously, we must let you go. Joyce peacefully passed away in her sleep at the Leduc Community Hospital on October 20, 2009. Cherished Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend; Forever in our Hearts. Joyce is proudly survived by her beloved Daughter, Sharon Lee Gibbons; her grand Grandsons (as Mom loved to call them) Bradley Scott Thomas Gibbons and Joshua Allen Gibbons-Filewich; also, left to treasure Joyce's memory is her Brother Wayne Orchuk; Sister-in-Law, Jean Orchuk; Niece Kelly and Nephew Sean. Our sweet gentle, fun-loving Alice will miss her Gramma (woof!). Your girl was always so happy to see you ... and find gum in your purse. Mom cherished and honored her many dear friends and relatives. She would thank them for being such an important part of her life. Heartfelt thanks to you all. Predeceased by Mother Lena Orchuk; Father Thomas Orchuk and younger Brother Lenny Orchuk. Our four beloved angels are now together again. A special expression of gratitude for her family doctor, Leela Balakrishnan. Dr. B was especially kind, caring and professional with Mom's health issues over the years. A Memorial Service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road, North Edmonton.
