Helena Maria OLBERT

KIRYLUK, Helena Maria 1925 - 2009 It is with great sorrow that the Kiryluk family announces the sudden and unexpected, but peaceful passing of Helena (Helen) Kiryluk of Edmonton, at the age of 84, into the hands of our Lord, on October 27, 2009. Helena is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph, of 62 years; her son Richard, his wife Teresa, and their sons Daniel (Kerri) and David (Becky); her son Edward, his wife Cherie, and their daughters Haley and Leah; her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah; her sister Francis Drapala (andfamily) and brother Ted Olbert (and family) of Winnipeg. She also leaves to mourn her loss many nieces and nephews, and all those who had the pleasure of befriending her. Helena was predeceased by her mother Maria, sister Hanka, and brothers Marcin and Stasiu in Poland; and her father Wojtek, sister Juzia, and brothers Wladek and Kazik in Winnipeg. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Homes, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB.The Service celebrating Helena's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2, at Holy Rosary Parish, 11485 - 106 Street, Edmonton, followed by a reception in the church hall. Cremation will take place after the service, and the interment of the cremated remains will occur at a later date.
