LUCHKA, Michalina For to me to live is Christ, And to die is gain (Phillipians 1:21) On October 28, 2009, Mrs. Michalina Luchka of Edmonton went to be with the Lord at the age of 100 years. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Olga (Nick) Bohdan and Dr. Elizabeth Haigh; two granddaughters, Barbara (Stan) Taylor and Jennifer Haigh; two great-grandsons, Mitchell and Steven Taylor. Predeceased by her husband, Pantelemon and sister, Maria. She faithfully served her Lord through selflessly serving others, she had a passion for life and will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral Service Monday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Dovercourt Baptist Church, 12321 - 135 Street, Edmonton. Reverend Ralph Griggs officiating with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
