SAIDMAN, Evelyn Marie With extreme sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Evelyn Marie Saidman (nee Gaudet) October 22 at home in New Westminster, BC, three days shy of her 84th birthday. She was predeceased by Murray, her husband of 61 years, in 2005. Mom spent most of her years in Edmonton, moving to the Victoria area in 1985 and recently New West. Her life revolved around her loving family Murray, sons Leonard (New West) and Larry (Langley), and daughters Sorelle (Vancouver), Susan (Boston) and Marilyn (Los Angeles). She fought multiple painful health problems for years with remarkable strength and determination. Stoic, gracious and above all else considerate of others, she never complained. She was a truly wonderful and amazing lady who never had a bad word to say about anybody. Her loss will be mourned by all who crossed her path. In addition to her children, she leaves her special friend and caregiver, Len's wife Bonnie Atwood, son-in-law Stephen Engel, daughter-in-law Elaine Rutherford, sisters Marjorie Granfield and Grace Alther, grandchildren Jessica, Garrett, Rebecca and Lionel, great-grandson Colton and kitty Cleo.
