SPURRELL, Irene Emily (nee Buckle) 1913 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished mom on October 18, 2009 in her ninety-seventh year after a brief illness. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Walter, her daughter Judy, her parents Henry and Lucy, her brother Lorne and sister Lillian. She is survived by three sons, Russell (Donna), Allan (Janet), Leslie (Joan), two daughters, Phyllis (Maurice), Sheila, her sister Bernice, sister-in-law Ruth, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. At her request, a private service was held on October 22 at Southwest United Church. Donations in her memory may be made to the church at 1445 Clemenceau St., Montreal, QC, H4H 2R2 or to the charity of your choice. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 10/31/2009
