Minh Truong February 2, 1931 October 29, 2009 Minh Truong, of Saskatoon, SK, passed away at his residence at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Minh was born in China on February 2, 1931. He moved to Vietnam when he was 10 years old. Minh married Muoi Tran in Vietnam and remained there until 1985 when they immigrated to Saskatoon where he was employed as a tailor. He retired and enjoyed life at home moving into Sunnyside 2 years ago. He and Muoi enjoyed traveling in their younger years. Minh is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Muoi Tran; five children, Loi (Hanu) Truong, Phuoc (Anh) Truong, Hankim (Wendy) Truong, Nam (Mydiem) Truong, Linda (Alex) Ng; and eleven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his infant son, Quoc Ky; and by all his brothers and sisters. An evening service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, officiated by members of the Chinese Temple. Interment will follow in the Garden of Traditions at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, SK. The family has requested no donations.
