ASHWORTH Jean Of Vancouver, peacefully on October 28, 2009, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Charles in 2006. Survived by her loving family, son Gordon (Dianne), daughter Barbara (Keith) Pollock, brother Bill (Lorna) and sister Kay, grandsons Jason, Kevin and Bryan. Jean was a dedicated volunteer her whole life for Vancouver General Hospital, the United Church of Canada and the Girl Guides of Canada. Memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Blake Field, Thursday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Heights United Church, 1634 East 41st Ave., Vancouver. Reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined in favour of donations to the B.C.
