FREARSON Robert (Bob) Whittet August 18, 1921 - October 7, 2009 Passed away peacefully on October 7, 2009 in his 88th year at Peace Arch Hospital with family by his side. Born in Fernie, BC, he moved to Vancouver as a teen and lived in the Alma area until he met Mabel, his wonderful wife. He was involved with the Scouting movement, also an avid shooter winning many awards. Dad loved to spend time on any lake and fish. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mabel, son Clint (Kristina), daughter Sherry (James) and 5 grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Scott, all the Dr's nurses and staff of the emergency and palliative care at Peace Arch Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 6th at 14170 - 78th Avenue, Surrey, BC from 3:00 pm. Donations in dad's memory can be made to the BC Yukon Heart Foundation or the Canadian Osteoporosis Society or The B.C.S.P.C.A.
