YIP Chuck Wing September 3, 1923 - October 25, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Chuck Yip, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Lucy, he is survived by his son Roger (Laura) and Grandchildren Melanie, Ryan and Taylor. Chuck attended art school in Vancouver and England. His artistic specialty was calligraphy and textile design. Chuck's hobbies included stamp and coin collecting, baking and gardening. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the friendly staff at Banfield Pavilion for their excellent care and for making Dad feel "at home" during his short stay. Thanks to Lourdes, and to all friends and family who stopped by for a visit, a walk or a game of cards. A service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Vancouver Crematorium - 5505 Fraser Street at 41st Avenue, Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the VGH/UBC Hospital Foundation "Banfield Pavilion" 855 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1M9, or to your favourite charity, would be appreciated.
