TESSIER Mrs. Agnes Maria (nee Kusch) passed away on October 5, 2009 at Mont. St. Joseph Care Home, Prince Albert at the age of 95 years. She was born on June 4, 1914 in Domremy, SK. Agnes is survived by her children, M. Alice Kellett of Tisdale, SK (Carolyn, Colleen, Joanne, Jeffery); Joseph G. Joe, of Thunder Bay, ON (Michelle); Albert P. of Prince Albert, SK (Jennifer, Terence); Marie Bernier (Bernard) of Hoey, SK (Marcel, Michel); Alfred Fred (Lucy) of St. Louis, SK (Steven, Sheri); her 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; her sisters, Rita Turcotte of High Prairie, AB; Flora Taillefer of Prince Albert, SK; Yvonne Kusch of Sidney, BC; Ida Le Sann of Sidney, BC; her brother Albert Kusch of Prince Albert, SK. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A., 1979; her daughter, Olive, 1984; her brothers, Joseph and Ernest. They married on October 26, 1937 and farmed east of St. Louis until retirement in 1975. Agnes was a founding member of the St. Louis CWL and was always very active in church and community development. She was named Citizen of the Year in 1978. Also known affectionately as Mrs. T. or Hurricane Agnes. She was an avid gardener and a knitting machine. Mom's motto was If you see it needs doing, then get it done! She could single-handed move mountains to help anyone. She lived in her own home until age 93 then became a resident of Mont. St. Joseph in July 2007. Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly. In lieu of tributes memorial donations can be made to Mont. St. Joseph Care Home, 777-28th St. E, Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Louis, SK. Private family burial in St. Louis.
