Elvira Elizabeth LAUGHY

HOWAT, Elvira Elizabeth (nee Laughy) July 21, 1922 - October 8, 2009 Elvira Howat of Edmonton passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda (Norm) and Gail; four grandchildren, Lisa and Kimberly (Terry), Amanda (Mike) and Joe; six great-grandchildren, Emily and Megan, Thomas and Tyler, Bradley and Kiana. Vira was predeceased by both parents and all ten of her siblings. A Celebration of Vira's Life will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation will follow in the Park Memorial Crematorium. Vira respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
