HEIDRICH Ambros December 7, 1907 - October 6, 2009 On October 6, 2009, our beloved Papa, Opi, Great-Opi and Great-Great Opi left us for a joyful reunion with Eugenia, wife of 70 years, who predeceased him in 2003, and baby daughter Angela. Born in Colelia, Romania. Left to mourn the passing of this gentle, faithful and devoted man are his children: Margaret (Tony) Fenrich, Andrew (Caroline) Heidrich, August (Pat) Heidrich and Maria (Manfred) Koestlmaier; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild with another due shortly, and many relatives and friends in Canada and Europe. Evening prayers will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 pm, and Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 14th at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, his parish since 1951, E. 32nd Ave. and Beatrice St., Vancouver. The family wishes to thank the staff at the German-Canadian Care Home and also Dr. Lefaivre and the team at the VGH Ortho Trauma Unit for their loving care and attention in his last months and days.
