Geraldyne Margaret SMILLIE

VANCE Geraldyne Margaret "Geri" (Smillie) Passed into peace on Sunday, October 4, 2009 after a long, courageous battle and brief illness. Geri was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 7, 1931. She is now reunited with her husband Nelson, mother Lubelle, father Lionel, daughter Shelly and stepdaughter Patti. Geri is survived by daughter Janice Pierce (Bob), son Doug (Jodi), grandchildren Shawn (Laura), Chantelle, Jadyn, Jessica and Devon. Also grieving her loss are stepchildren Marlene, Bill, Don, other extended family members and her friends at Post 83. The family would like to thank the home care workers from Bayshore Health and extend their special thanks to Dr. Philip Hanam. At Geri's request there will be no service.
