Thomas Joseph LANE

LANE, Thomas Joseph Suddenly at home on October 8th, 2009 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Major) (1998). Survived by his sons William and Sean Lane. Son to the late Thomas Joseph Lane Sr. (1973) and Grace (Mahoney) (1981). Brother of the late Sr. Rosalia Lane (1971); Irene Charlton (Robert); Frances Turner and the late William (2008), Ohio; Michael Lane, Vancouver and also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Dear son-in-law to the late William (1969) and Loma Major (1983) (Delisle). Brother-in-law to the late Mabel (Major) (2007) & Howard Grondin; Clara (Major) Becksmith, the late Ernie Ouellette, the late Fred Becksmith; the late Lucy Cayea (Major) (2008); the late Ernest Cayea, the late Lionel Hotte; Harry and Pat Major (nee Brault); Lillian St. Antoine (Major), the late Walter Landry, the late Ernie St. Antoine, the late Lorraine Major (1988), the late Nina Grbich (Major) (2006), the late Kenneth Spence, the late Paul Grbich; Edward and Louise Major (Gagnon); the late Albert Major (2007) and wife Loretta Major (Ross); Lee Beaumont (Major) the late Red Beaumont; William and Marilyn Major (Miskin). Thomas retired from Windsor Regional Hospital (I.O.D.E.) after 34 years of service. He was veteran of the RCAF and Royal Canadian Militia and spent a short period in Prince George, B.C. doing mission work. Tom enjoyed reading, walking and going to Point Pelee. Visitation from the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., (519-253-5225) on Tuesday, October 13th from 2 5 & 7 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:45 p.m. Please Note: Family and friends are requested to meet at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 350 Huron Church Rd. on Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 after 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Ross Bartley officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery at a later date.
