PONSFORD, Harley Albert (Sonny) Passed away peacefully on October 4, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of Shirley (nee Allan) with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage. Cherished dad to Pattie and husband Bill Laframboise and Vic and husband Brett Wade. Beloved Buba to Laura and Clinton Laframboise and Ellisha and Jackie Wade. Dear brother to Madelon wife of the late Paul Bouffard, Joanne Kinsman, the late Jane Ponsford. Harley will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins in the St. Thomas area. Harley was a long standing and dedicated employee at Chrysler Canada. He was a very active member of Corpus Christi Church and served as usher for many years. He served in the Canadian Air Force as a World War II veteran seeing active service overseas. An original member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594 for 36 years. Harley will be known for his generosity to many charities and organizations. He was an avid sports enthusiast and a gentleman with a green thumb. If you so desire memorial donations to Corpus Christi Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor.
