BLACKHALL - Douglas September 12, 1923 - October 7, 2009 Douglas passed away peacefully at Mount St. Joseph's Hospital with his family at his side. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Violet (Lozinsky), daughter Sandra (Dave), son Douglas "The Kid", youngest daughter Lori (Borys), brother Ronnie (Pat), granddaughter Tanya and many relatives and friends. Doug was a very proud World War II Veteran who served overseas with the Manitoba Dragoons from 1940 - 1944. Predeceased by wife Beverly, sister Edith, brothers Stanley, Les, Brian, and Bert. No service by request. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Published in the Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from 10/11/2009- 10/13/2009
