GELLVEAR-Margaret Catherine (Peggy) of Victoria, BC, formerly of Regina, passed away November 6, 2008 at the age of 85 after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by Peter, her loving husband of 44 years; her parents, four brothers and three sisters all of England. She is survived by daughter Janice (Bud Ast); sons Bruce (Marla) children Joel, Janelle, Lauryn; Paul (Darlene) children Gilles and Sean as well as numerous nieces, nephews in England. Peggy was born on November 29, 1922 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England. There she attended school and during WWII was in the WAAF. In 1950, while working as a housekeeper, she met and then married Peter Gellvear. Seeking adventure, they immigrated to Canada in 1954, eventually settling in Regina. They retired to Victoria in 1983 and fully enjoyed this new chapter in their lives. A friend to many, Peggy lived a full and active life which kept her years younger. Peggy's Love Peter passed away in 1994. In 1996 Peggy met Bill Dibb and her lonely days were filled with companionship until his passing. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrews Cathedral, Victoria. B.C.
