MARIANI, Maria (nee Campagna) Passed away peacefully, at Extendicare Southwood Lakes, on October 10, 2009, at the age of 79 years. As the angels descended to guide her home, we announce the sudden passing of a truly beautiful soul who touched all our hearts and lived in a powerful way. Beloved wife of the late Aquileio (1978). Beloved mother of Giana McKenna, Sandra and David Root, Angelo Mariani and Kathleen Taylor, Lucy and Paul Gaughan, Livia and Alan Burdon, Maryanne and Arnott Small, and Anthony Mariani. Nonna to 9 wonderful grandchildren, Karen, Kyle, Gabriella, Christina, Scott, Michael, Brandon, Giselle, and Alexis. She will be forever missed. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, October 12, 2009, from 7 - 9 and Tuesday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 8:00pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 11:00 o'clock in the Chapel. Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
