Rita Blanche DESAULNIERS

PELTIER, Rita Blanche (nee Desaulniers) Born June 12, 1920, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2009, at 89 years of age. Beloved wife, best friend and teen sweetheart of the late George (April 19, 2007). Predeceased by parents Emile (1959) and Helen (1966) Desaulniers. Loving and caring mother to George (Larry) Peltier, Ken Peltier and wife Vickie, and Nancy Peltier all of Windsor. Rita left behind 3 grandaughters whom she adored and was very proud of Mrs. Debbie (Jeff) Knowler, Mrs. Laurie (Leon) St. Louis, and Ms. Penny Peltier and companion Paul, and 5 great grandchildren, Kyle and Kiara Knowler, Dillon, Wade and Morgan St. Louis. She also leaves behind her ex - daughter - in - law Sharron Peltier. Predeceased by her 2 sisters, Mrs. Beatrice (Lucien) Belanger and Mrs. Lorraine (John) Renaud. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to all the nurses and doctors for their exceptional care and com-passion especially the 4th floor nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital (Eastern Campus). Funeral Service on Wed-nesday, October 14, 2009, at 8:45 AM from the Funeral Home, then to St. Vincent de Paul Church (6038 Empress) for Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
