Jessie Dorothy VARLEY

HAYNES, Jessie Dorothy (Dolly) February 14, 1914 November 9, 2008 Dolly passed away peacefully in her sleep at Shannon Oaks Retirement Home". Dolly is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Stanley, her sister Winnie Lambert of Saskatoon and her brother Jim Varley of Toronto. Dolly is survived by her daughter Helen of Lethbridge and sister, Edith Nichol of Burlington, Ontario and several nieces and nephews. Dolly was born in Great Yarmouth, England and immigrated to Canada as a small child where the family settled in Saskatoon, Sask. In 1939 she met and married Stanley and moved to Victoria. Dolly was an active member of her community Oak Bay and the Victoria Golf Club". A Memorial Service will be held at Shannon Oaks", 2000 Goldsmith Street, Friday, November 14, 2008 at 3:30 PM, reception to follow.
