Frederick DECK

Frederick Deck Frederick Deck passed away at the age of 55 on October 11, 2009. Left to honour his memory are his wife Donna; mother Angelica; daughters Mary Deck, Anna (Kurt) Kirchmeier, Lauren (Aaron) Wozniak; and baby granddaughter Ksenia. Brothers and sisters, Terry (Bernice), Callista Peakman, Jim (Darlene), Tim (Betty), Pat (Alan) Wilson, Mel (Donna), Dan (Jen); nieces, nephews and many very wonderful friends. Fred lost his dad in July 2008. Fred loved his family. He was born on November 17, 1953 and grew up in Denzil, SK. Early in his teen years, his family moved to Saskatoon where Fred completed high school at Holy Cross Collegiate. Fred travelled extensively abroad in his younger days, and he loved fishing with his buddies here at home. Going to the lake was a passion for Fred, especially May long weekend. Fred loved his Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Minnesota Vikings. We'll miss him dearly. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kriegler, the wonderful caregivers in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital, as well as the doctors and nurses at RUH. Fred's final wish in life was to share a moment with his extensive family. We have honoured his wish with a private family gathering.
