SCRIMGER, Stella June 9, 1926 November 7, 2008 Stella passed away peacefully on November 7th. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph and brother Stan, Stella will be sadly missed by daughters, Joan (Tom) Freeman and Anne (Marino) Piazza, sons Paul (Sandra) Scrimger and Malcolm Scrimger, and her seven grandchildren. Born in Jarrow, England, Stella moved to Canada in 1952 and dedicated her life to raising her family. Stella lived in New York, Bermuda, Quebec and Italy, but Victoria was always home to her. In 1981 Stella and Joe founded Jasco Research and ran the company together until Joe died in 1997. Stella was especially proud of the legacy of Jasco Research, which has grown into an international research and development company. A memorial service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery (God's Acre), 1200 Colville Road, Victoria on Tuesday November 18th at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at 2752 Heron St. Sincere and true in her heart and mind, beautiful memories she left behind 512502 Published in the Victoria Times-Colonist from 11/14/2008 - 11/15/2008
