LOZINSKI, ANNA April 5, 1906 October 10, 2009 Anna Lozinski (Huska) passed away at the age of 103 years at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. She was born on a farm near Norquay, SK on April 5, 1906. Anna married Joseph Lozinski in 1926 and they farmed near Hyas, SK. After Joseph's passing, Anna moved briefly to Lanigan and then to Yorkton. She enjoyed gardening and growing her own food. Anna's cooking and baking was always most tasty. She enjoyed visits from family and friends. Anna had many talents, and always had something to do. She knitted, crocheted, embroidered, sewed, and quilted. Anna will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children: Methody (Sylvia), Theresa Beyko, son-in-law Duane Lukan, Stan (Barb) and Al (Mary). Anna loved her 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph M. (1968), all their siblings and their spouses, her daughters Margaret (Sister Celestine) and Mary Lukan. Our sincere thank you to the Sisters of St. Joseph's for their devoted love and spiritual care for Anna. Also thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Nursing Home, for their kindness and outstanding care. Prayer Services will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 16. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009. Both services at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Yorkton, SK.
