Henry ROBERTSON

ROBERTSON Henry "Gordon" Of New Westminster, BC. Born February 22, 1921 in Avonlea, Saskatchewan to Henry Allen and Mary Ann Robertson. Our dear father, uncle, grandpa passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Gordon joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939, was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, curled at the Victoria Curling Club for many years and retired from the Ministry of Transportation and Highways in 1985. He married Colleen in 1962 and became step-father to Terry, Brian, Carol and Steven and father to Geordie and Marianne. He was predeceased by his loving sisters Agnes and Isabelle. "Dad", "Grandpa", "Uncle Gordon" will be sadly missed by all his children, his daughter-in-law Kim, his grandchildren Alyssa, Brenton and Crystalyn and nieces and nephews Patsy, Mary Lou, Gordon, Allan, Gregory and Barbara, and of course, his cat Monica and many friends whose lives he's touched along the way. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 - 6th Street, New Westminster, BC.
