Thomas G. E. SHEARMAN

SHEARMAN - Thomas G.E. October 23, 1924 October 13, 2009. Loving husband of 59 years to Joyce. Father to Paul, Linda and Heather (Walker). Grandfather to Scott and Zachary. Father-in-law to Caroline and the Late Tim Walker. Before immigration to Canada, Tom spent 20 years in Portsmouth (U.K.) Dockyard becoming an established shipwright. He later worked in Parks and Recreation in Hamilton and Windsor for 27 years and was retired for almost 20 years. Our gratitude to all the Workers from CCAC, St. Elizabeth's Bayshore & Hospice for the assistance they provided to Tom on his journey. A celebration of his life will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre 1969 Wyandotte St. East., on Friday October 16, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. till time of Service.
