COTE, Marian Katherine (nee Reichenbach) It is with great sadness that the family of Marian Cote announce her peaceful passing on October 10, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Marcel of 38 years; daughter Nicole, husband Darrel, grandchildren Janae and Tyler and daughter Melodie husband Kent, granddaughters Brianna and Kendra. Plus numerous relatives and friends. Marian was born on September 13, 1941 in Belloy, AB. She married Marcel Cote on April 24, 1971 in Edmonton where they lived until 1985 when they moved to Grande Prairie. Marian, also known as Grandma Angel, was a devoted grandma to all four of her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. After waiting three years on the transplant list, Marian was the recipient of a double lung transplant in February 2001. This has given our family almost nine extra years with her which we are eternally grateful for. Sincere thanks to Dr. Lien and Kathy at the U of A Transplant Unit for the wonderful care they provided to Marian. Funeral will take place on October 16, 2009 in Grande Prairie.
