LEONARD CRAIG 1919 2009 Leonard Craig died peacefully October 14th, 2009 at the age of 89 years. He was born in the Marcelin area in 1919. He joined the army in 1941-45, after his discharge he worked at Intercontinental Packers. He later worked for Mid-City Motors and Ted-Hanson Pontiac for 36 years, he retired in 1984. He married Alice Mercereau in 1946. He is predeceased by his wife, Alice; his father, Wilfred and mother, Blanche; brothers, Raymond, Wilfred, Edward, Leo, Victor, George; and sisters Jean, Anita, Rita and Alice. He is survived by his sons, Douglas (Brenda) of Wynyard, Rod of Saskatoon; grandchildren, Dana, Colin, Alana, Alicia, Amy, Kyle and Kailey and great grandchildren, Kaitlen and Jorja; his sisters, Diane, Ollie, Loretta; and brother, Alan. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing and time spent at Emma Lake with his family. He will be dearly missed. We would like to thank the sisters and staff of Saint Joseph's for their thoughtful and loving care of our father. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes. Condolences may be sent to mail@westwoodfunerachapel.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to WESTWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL (653-3434).
