HERBERT George Tranter George Tranter Herbert passed away Friday, October 9th, 2009. A WWll veteran, George served in the British Royal Navy, came to Canada in 1947 and moved to B.C. in 1951. He is survived by his brother John (California), wife Sydnie Digby, children Susan, Mark, John, Nicholas and their mother Sheila Herbert and 8 grandchildren.
