Joyce Hazel Ann PLAIN

PLAIN, Joyce Hazel Ann May 3, 1932 ~ September 11, 2009 Joyce passed away at Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre on September 11, 2009 at the age of 77. She was the mother of Alison (Bruce) Cutknife of Hobbema, Alberta and grandmother of Heather, Vivienne, Rebecca-June and Damian; great-grandmother of Cassius; mother of Steve (Kelly) Gold of St. Albert, Alberta and grandmother of Brendan and Donovan; sister of Helen Coghill, Hilda Root, Henrietta MacGregor and David Plain as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She had retired from Canada Post after 28 years of service and was a lifelong member of Parker Street United Church, Sarnia, Ontario as well as the First United Church, Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Joyce was also a member of the Sweet Adelines of Edmonton and the Fun Singers in Wetaskiwin. Celebration of Life for Joyce will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Seniors Centre, 5216- 54 Street. Everyone welcome.
