SOLOMONS, Sydney - Sadly on Thursday, October 15, 2009, a month before his 90th birthday. Beloved husband of Beatrice. Loving father of Stephen Solomons and Gerry Troy, and Cheryl and Leonard Cappe. Adored zaida of Jeffrey Cappe and Tiana Roebuck, Sonia and Ben Leith, and Mitchell Cappe. Syd was a proud R.A.F. World War II veteran, honourable fifty year member of the Masonic Temple and Shriners, lover of music, nature, crosswords, and cryptograms. Service on Sunday, October 18th at 2:30pm at Beth Tzedec Congregation, 1700 Bathurst St., with interment at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at 81 Ridelle Avenue, until Thursday, October 22nd from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
