Louis Lafreniere The death of Louis Lafreniere of Cudworth, SK occurred on Thursday, October 15, 2009. He is survived by: his wife, of 56 years, Irene; children: Lucy, Phil, Jeannette (Mike), Louise (Jim), Maurice, Jacqueline (Brad); grandchildren: Michelle (Wayne), Leslie (Danielle), Kristen (Mark), Brittney, Jody, Matthew, Christopher, Amanda (Rob), Jesse; great grandchildren: Heather, Sarah, Darian, Caden, Emma, Chloe; brothers and sisters: Lorraine (Frank) Viczko, Lionel (Muriel) Lafreniere, Sylvia (Armand) Prefontaine, Jerome (Aline) Lafreniere, Denise (Andre) Lepage Ronald (Lynn) Lafreniere; sisters-in-law: Alice Devillaire, Theresa Land, Isabel (Ernie) Miskolczi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rose; brothers, Guy and Leo; and great grandchild, Faith. The Vigil of Prayer will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Cudworth, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Donatien and Rogatien Roman Catholic Church, Prud'homme, SK . Celebrant will be Reverend Father Denis Phaneuf. Rite of Committal will be at the Prud'homme Roman Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Brian Kuemper, Scharf's Funeral Home 256-7044.
