Leland Edwin GANDY

GANDY Leland Edwin (Lee) 1926 - 2009 Lee slipped away quietly in his sleep at Queen's Park Hospice on October 9. Lee will be greatly missed by Fran, his wife of 58 years, his sons, Stephen (Liz) and Mark (Diane), brother, Eldy (Marge), 7 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Brock, Sask; retired in New Westminster, BC; owner of Gandy's Home Hardware in Kitsilano for 59 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Best Western Coquitlam Inn (Columbia Room), 319 North Road, Coquitlam on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 2 to 5 p.m. The Gandy Family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at RCH, Burnaby Palliative Care and Queen's Park Hospice for their care and dedication. In Lee's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society or Queen's Park Hospice in New Westminster.
