TROTTER Lesley Lillian Ross Passed away quiet and peacefully on October 5, 2009 at the age of 61. Lesley was born in North Vancouver on July 8, 1948 to parents Elizabeth (nee Morson) and James Ross. She attended Handsworth Secondary School and continued her life here on the North Shore with trips to Mayne Island. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth, sister Barbara, daughters Sabrina and Tiffany, and the extended Morson family. Lesley was also a fixture in the lives of Tracy Cherniak and her son Dylan, and will be sorely missed. Lesley's fight with Leukemia was a courageous battle known only to her close family and friends. Her determination to not give up and fighting spirit were present until her last days, and serves as an inspiration to all of us. Lesley enjoyed spending time with her daughters on the field hockey and soccer fields and introducing Dylan to sports, reading, and playing. She always held a helping hand and thought of others before herself. Her kindness, caring, compassion, and spunk touched everyone around her and will be missed to a depth that cannot be measured. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10am at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers the family will be making a donation after the memorial service. Published in the Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from 10/17/2009- 10/18/2009
