Linda BLOXHAM

BARNES, Linda (nee Bloxham) October 20, 1950 November 10, 2008 Linda passed away suddenly in her home on November 10, 2008. Linda is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 13 years Sandy (James), her best friends and forever loving daughters Robyn (Rob Parker), Lindsay and Hayley (Ryan Wilson) and Sandy's loving children Shawn, Cindy (Ron Lang), Jenny and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her sister Janet, her mother Holly Diane and predeceased by her father James. Linda moved to Victoria from the mainland with her three girls in 1989; it was time for a change. In 1990 Linda began working with Waddell & Raponi which shortly became a second family to her; thank you to all at the firm who touched her life. In 1995 Linda met and fell in love with her Pookie, her Knight in Shining Armor; and it was their love together that brought everyone around them closer, creating bonds of family and everlasting friendships. Linda's world revolved around her beautiful grandchildren; they may not have had the opportunity to know her like you and I, but they all know how much she loved them. Thank you Jacob, Nate, Danno, BrookLynn, Samantha, Shellby, Billie, Brandon and Brenna for bringing all of those wonderful smiles to Grandma's face. A service of remembrance will be held at First Memorial, 1155 Fort Street at 2pm on Nov 22, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Children's Hospital, a charity closest to my mom's heart.
