Elsie Meyer GERTH

CHATEAUNEUF, Elsie Meyer nee Gerth On Tuesday, October 13, 2009 Elsie Chateauneuf of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by two sisters: Freda Warehime of Fort McMurray, AB (formerly of Barrhead, AB), and Lydia Gerth of Lethbridge; Wayne and Denise Wegenast and their family: Ryan, Kaleb, Twila, Joshua, Jacob, Haley and Chad; Elsie was known to the family as the Auntie with the pretty blue eyes; as well as numerous other family and friends. She worked for many years at the downtown Reeds China and Gift store. Elsie was a friend to many and will be missed by all. The family is respecting her wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A special thank you to Unit 29 at the Royal Alexander Hospital staff and Dr. Mei Fok for their compassion and care.
