Effie L. G. TRANT

TRANT - Effie, L.G. Passed away October 14, 2009 with family at her side. She was born October 23, 1913 in Vancouver, BC. Effie will be missed by her daughter Elizabeth and her husband Ian Dingwall, their son Bill Dingwall, and daughter Laurie and her husband Russ Lyons. Effie treasured her great-grandchildren 5 year old Owen and 3 year old Erin Lyons. Mom will also be remembered by her nephew Earle Rhind. Mom was proud to be born in Vancouver, BC, a WREN during the war, and a switchboard operator at BC HYDRO until Retirement. The family would like to thank Langley Gardens, Dr Tom Park, and the nurses on 2 south at Langley Memorial Hospital for their care of Mom and Linda Moss for her support. A Celebration of Mom's Life will be held October 23, 2009 (her 96th birthday) at 2:00 p.m. at Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey.
