FERGUSON, Jeanie Johnston On Friday, October 16, 2009, Jeanie Johnston Ferguson of Whitecourt passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. Jean was predeceased by Ernie, her husband, in January of 2005. She will be loved and always remembered by her children, Anne (Don) Hector of Penticton, BC, Ian of Smith, AB and Sheena (Wayne) Meikle of Okotoks, AB; grandchildren, Kristen, Jason and David; and special friend, Leanne Shand and family of Whitecourt; numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland. Predeceased by parents, Annie and Dan McConnachie; sisters, Isa, Iris, May and Nan. Memorial Service Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitecourt United Church, Whitecourt, AB. Inurnment in Whitecourt Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to at charity of one's choice.
