Maurice `Moe' Charles Zentner September 13th, 1941 October 17th, 2009 The passing of Maurice Zentner, age 68 of Saskatoon, SK, occurred Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at St. Paul's Hospital. Moe is survived by wife Jackie (nee Mathieson); children Tracy (Bill) Lesser of Saskatoon, Cari (Russell) Karakochuk of Saskatoon, Alison (Ian) Passey of Calgary, Keith (Rachelle) Zentner of Saskatoon; grandchildren Kristen Lesser, Jared and Travis Karakochuk, Evan and Jace Passey, Beth and Ella Zentner; sisters Sharon Zentner, Janice (Larry) Arbour, Gloria Grant, Marianne (Sandy) Konkin; in-laws Betty Ronvel, Pat Hartley, Sandra (Ron) Elder, Tom (Joanne) Mathieson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maurice was predeceased by parents Conrad and Betty Zentner; brother Brian Zentner; sister Gail Fraser. Moe was born and raised on the family farm near Watson, SK. He married Jackie May 18th, 1964 and they moved to Saskatoon in September 1967. Moe's greatest passion was his family, especially his seven grandchildren, visiting friends and his homes at Turtle Lake, SK. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, turn right before railway crossing). Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, in Moe's memory donations may be made to the Stroke Recovery Association, (C/O Maurice and Lorraine Van Den Bossche, 50 Robinson Cresc, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6N9).
