Henry BOLDT

BOLDT, Henry "Hank" Aug. 26, 1931- Oct. 17, 2009 Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Chateau Park Nursing Home. Beloved husband of 54 years to Janet (nee Couvillon). Loving dad of Tina & Mason MacDonald, Kenneth & Sandra Boldt, and Karen McCabe. Cherished Opa to Cecilia, Kathleen, Al & Bobbi Jo, Michael & Cheyenne, Brad, Jasmine, Jennifer & Bill, and Jessica, and Great Opa to A.J., Jacob, Dylan, Ciarra, and Baby Hanchar. Survived by his brother John, sisters-in-law Margaret Boldt, Mary Lou Honaker, Dorothy & Gerry Derochie, Marie Couvillon, and Fil Couvillon, as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John & Katahrina Boldt, brother Pete, sister-in-law Doris, and brothers-in-law Eugene and Romeo Couvillon. He will also be missed by Heidi and greeted by Princess. Hank retired after serving 20 years in the R.C.A.F., and was an active member of the Canadian Air Force Association. He was the recipient of the NATO Special Services Medal and the C.D. Medal. At his request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will take place at Sacred Heart Church, LaSalle on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at 1 p.m. Family and friends are welcome. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
