Mary KYLE

KYLE, Mary June 13, 1947 - October 16, 2009 On October 16, 2009, Mary passed away quietly after a long, courageous battle with kidney disease. Mary was a warm and amazing woman who devoted her life to her children, family, friends and community. She is predeceased by her son; Kevin Schmidtke, her brother; Gary Kyle and her parents; Bertha and Cyril Kyle. Left to mourn and cherish her memory is her daughter; Lori Schmidtke and brother; Arthur (Janis) Kyle. Mary also leaves behind her stepmother; Enid Kyle, five step-brothers; Joe (Marilyn) Kyle, Bernie Kyle, Ron (Mary) Kyle, Jim Kyle, Norman Kyle and step-sister; Kelly Kyle as well as her nephews; Dylan, Andrew, Will and niece; Polly. Mary will be dearly missed by her cousin, best friend and kindred sister; Susan Thompson as well as many other relatives, friends and co-workers from the Alberta Research Council where she had worked for many years. A Celebration of Mary's Life will take place on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 11223 - 51 Avenue, Edmonton, AB with Pastor Tim Posyluzny officiating.
