Sheila O'NEILL

GRIFFIN, Sheila (nee O'Neill) Passed away after a long battle with kidney failure at the Ottawa General Hospital on October 31, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Kevin Griffin. Loving Mother of Shawn, Fergus and Nancy, and mother-in-law of Anne, Catherine and Michael. Cherished Granny to Alanna, Brady, Clare, Connor, Erin, Kelsey, Mary and Shauna. She will be sorely missed by her brother Dan and his wife Mary, her sister Kay, and her sister-in-laws Mary and Anne. She was dearly loved by her nephews and nieces in Canada, Ireland and England, and their children. She was a nurse at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. Sheila spent the last four years enjoying her many friends in Ottawa, especially at the Palisades Retirement Home where she lived. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Sunday November 1, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 194 Fourth Avenue, on Monday at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the Dialysis and Orthopedic units at the Ottawa General Hospital.
