Mavis Madeline LEWIS

WILLIAMS (NEE LEWIS) Mavis Madeline July 19, 1929 - October 29, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her children Richard Wayne Williams, Lyle Albert Williams Sr. (Louise), Edward Mark Williams (Peggy), Roy Patrick Williams (Alice), Juanita L. Lewis, Denise Marie Bob, Elaine Ann Williams, Della Rose Williams, and Angela Joan Schorneck (Hart) sister Constance "Connie" Zagala, Robert "Bobby" Lewis, sister-in-law Dolores Lewis and aunt Stella Newman and 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be missed by many loving relatives and dear friends. Mavis will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and during her pastime she loved to garden. A legacy that Mavis instilled with her children was teaching them to prepare traditional food such as smoked salmon and preserves. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., and Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Both Services will be held at Totem Hall, 1380 Stawamus Rd., Squamish, BC.
