DAMIANAKOS, Nikolaos (Nick) Peacefully at home on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at age 76. Loving husband of Maria (nee Mihalis). Beloved father of Basil "Bill" (Tonia) and Angelo (Joanna). Cherished Grandfather of Maria, Niko, Peter, Niko, and Georgia. Brother of Helen, Stavroula (Gregory Koutakos), Paraskevi (George Grivas), Constantino (Kaliopi), Georgia Papadoliakos, Elefteria (Paul Vamvakitis) and the late John. Survived by his sister-in-law Suzanne and many nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends in Canada and Greece. Predeceased by his parents Vasilis and Panagiota. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Tuesday, November 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Trisagion Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church (Kimissis Tis Theotokou), 1315 Prince of Wales Drive on Wednesday, November 4th at 11 a.m. Gathering at the Hellenic Community Centre following burial. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the nurses and palliative care team of WeCare.
