Maria Luisa POZZI

PIZZICAROLI, Maria Luisa (Nina) (nee: Pozzi) Passed away suddenly on October 31, 2009, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of 54 years to Lamberto. Loving mother of Grace Dickson and husband Edward, Alfredo Pizzicaroli and wife Suzy, all of Windsor. Cara Nonna of Stephanie, Jennifer, Lauren, Sara, and Diana. Dear sister of Giovanni and wife Maria Pozzi; Santino and wife Nickie Pozzi, all of Windsor; Antonietta Pozzi ; and Letizia and husband Giulio Anella, all of Italy. Dear sister-in-law of Anna and Vincenzo DeAnge-lis of Italy. Dear daughter of the late Armida and Costanzo Pozzi, and daughter-in -aw of the late Alfredo Pizzicaroli (1992), and his surviving wife Amalia, of Italy. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and relatives in Canada, Michigan, and Italy. Maria Luisa will be dearly missed by many neighbours and friends. Maria dedicated her life to her beloved family. She was especially proud of each of her granddaughters and was a big part of their upbringing. After her family, Maria loved her books and her garden, and spent many hours tending her flowers. She also took pleasure in cooking and baking for her friends and family. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 8:45 am then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
