ROY, Rheal "Ray" Suddenly on November 1, 2009, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 50 years to Edith (Peterson). Loving Dad to Terry & Nina, Yvette & Scott Peebles, and Lee-Anne & Allan Trudell. Proud Papa to Derek and Kyle; Lindsey, Ryan, Kaitlin and Dillon; and Matthew and Michael, and Great Papa to Makaylin. Dear brother of Yvonne (Arthur) Gionet, Elise (Rene) Villeneuve, Berthe (Raymond) Bigras, Lucien (Hugette) Roy, Colette Laporte, Lionel (Claudette) Roy, Pauline Lessard, Diane (Ron) Racicot, Denise (Ken) Taveirne, Roland (Anne) Roy, and Lillianne (Maurice) Girard. Brother-in-law to Russell (2008) & wife Elaine Peter-son, Ken (Helen) Peterson, and Daniel (2009) & wife Joan Peterson. Predeceased by his parents Doris & Marie-Ange Roy, his brothers Marcel, Leo, Arthur, and Roger Roy, and his sisters Marie and Yvette Roy, Annette Krakana, and Claire Belliard. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews, and special thanks to Ron & Diane Pariseau for all the years of wonderful memories. He will also be missed by many other relatives and friends. Visiting at the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral on Thursday, November 5, 2009, from the funeral home at 8:30 going to Assumption Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
